A grounded approach to movement, breath & stillness.

Valness is my work and my home, a body of practice rooted in dance, breath, yoga and somatic enquiry. I create spaces where the nervous system can soften and the body can speak. I’m currently studying NCFE Level 2 Counselling Skills to deepen this work.

My Story

My path began in contemporary dance — years of training that taught me how the body holds story, memory and possibility. From dance I moved into yoga, training in India and the UK, then deeper into breathwork and Thai bodywork in Chiang Mai.

Today my work blends Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative yoga, conscious connected breathwork and somatic movement — always with care for the person in front of me. I’m drawn to environments that value integrity, presence and responsible facilitation.

I’m equally at home leading a quiet morning yin class, a cathartic breathwork journey, or holding the container for a full retreat. What matters to me is that people leave feeling met, rested and a little more themselves.

My Approach

Empathy-led, trauma-aware and evidence-informed. I combine yoga, holistic therapies and nervous-system awareness to support meaningful change.
